THEHISTORY OF THE SCHOOL

Zonguldak Boy Art High School was built in two old buildings in Soğuksu Region with three departments in 18.07.1945. These three departments were Ironing, Carpentery and Machine Technology with 167 students.

After 1949 our school was moved to Mine Technique School. Actually, year by year the number of the students and the number of the departments have increased. In 1960 Mıne Technique School was closed and new departments were opened so our school has become like a small university.We have got four different schools which are on education on a 40.000m’ field . Our school is directed by only one headmaster. In the last 61 years our school gave a marvellous technique education and educated thousands of technique staff,governer,businessman,artists and also teachers. Our school is going to educate lots of young people who are connected by heart to Atatürk’s principals and Turkish Republic government for many sixty years more.

The teachers aims are to make our students have good and positive relations, think in many dimensions, a healhty body and mind, follow Atatürk’s principles,give importance to national and contemporary values.

We try to prepare our students to life in the best way. They are prepared to work life with a qualified knowledge and work ethic. By tutoring them in this way qualified staff will be ready to develop the Turkish Government.

Turkey has to take the place of respect inthe world arena. So Turkish Youth should be leader in all kinds of Works. The society should go further and further by enligtening the people.

The students not only learn the career and culture lessons at school but also learn how to take a good place in society,to improve themselves,to be active every time.

The tutoring activities and technology are integrated ; this integration brings dynamism to the learners.
The learners are graduated from our school as qualified managers . Frankly, after their graduation it is their turn to prove themselves.

We hope to open new departments in order to tutor more active ,qualified, intelligent teenagers both for society and Turkey’s development.

OUR SCHOOL’S AIMS AND DUTIES

Our school’s aim is to educate young people who are connected by heart to Turkish national education,Atatürk’s principals, Atatürk’s nationalizm. Our students must give importance to Turkih nation’s national,ethical,humanism and culturek values. Our students must like their families,country and nation. To develop these values and principals they have to learn and be aware of the basic principals which are reflected in the Turkish Constitution.

THE ADVANTAGES OF THE CAREER EDUCATION IN MANAGEMENT

In Industry Career High School tutoring has been going on since 1986 depended on Profession and Technique Education Law. So, the students learn the real profession life in their student ages.

*In managements, during the profession tutoring, the students get fees not under % 30 of the minimum fee.

*The students get profits from all social oppurtinities of the managements.

*The students are insured if only they have some work accidents,work illnesess. The insurance fees are paid by our Ministry.
* During their education the students’ operation and examination costs are paid by Social Insurance Association.

*The students have the chance of investigating and using machines and equipments which are not in their school.

*The students improve themselves in real managements with real management conditions.They can practice a lot in convenient conditions.
*To graduate from the school the students are accepted as they completed their course of istruction by this way.

*If one gets the course of instruction that person can easily be successful in their jobs.

1. ZONGULDAK ANATOLIAN TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL

After Secondary School the students have four years of education.In this school the students learn general knowledge lessons and profession lessons . They also learn English in elemantary, intermediate and advanced levels. The Anatolian Students attend to our school with no special exam which is given by The Central System.

Our Anatolian Students have the chance of graduating from the school in three years. Then they get “Anatolian Career Diploma” . However, if they want they can go on tutoring for four years. When they graduate from our school they attend to University Entrance Exam and if they are successful enough they attend to university degrees.

The Anatolian Technical High School has a qualified English learning and teaching.

In 2005-2006 Education Period the education periods were organised by MEGEP as four years.

2. ZONGULDAK TECHNIQUE HIGH SCHOOL

After Secondary School the students have four years of education. The Technique Students are selected from the most sucessful students of Industry Career High School students.

The students of this school can go on tutoring for four years and get the diploma of Industry Career High School and then attend to University Entrance Exam or they go on tutoring for four years and get the diploma of Technique High School and then attend to the University Entrance Exam. If they are sucessful in the exam they attend to university degrees.

In 2005-2006 Education Period the sections had been departments.

3. ZONGULDAK INDUSTRY CAREER HIGH SCHOOL

After Secondary School the students have four years of education. These students are tutored depended on “The Technique High School Law”. They are prepared to work life and also university life in the best way.

These students are educated at school in the ninth and tenth classes,but in the eleventh class they are educated at school for only two days at school and in the other three days they goto the mamagements in order to use the machines and equipments. So they learn their professions in the rigt way by practising. The Industry Career High school students are taken to our school without any exam. Due to MEGEP the sections had been departments and the tutoring had been four years.
